Team 6-3 was amazed with the success of their Giving Group Fundraiser last week! The Group raised over $1,500.00 by selling treats before school! Students in the Giving Group counted the funds and shopped online to purchase gifts for The Foster Network Christmas wishlists. It feels good to give -Thank you Patrick Henry!

'Twas the week before Winter Break! Excitement always fills the air as students anticipate the Holidays. We are looking forward to basketball games, dress-up days and fun in our classrooms as we wrap up learning before the break.

Our awesome Student Council recently paid a local artist (DJ McCullough Art) to create a mural of "influential faces" to brighten our hallway and spark conversations about who is on the mural and why. Thank you PHMS Student Council!!

Team 7-3 students recently competed in an essay contest celebrating Human Rights Day. The day, honored each December 10, marks the anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. The focus for this year’s essay contest was on the Human Right to Seek a Safe Place to Live. Dylan Xian and Lahah Ung were among the Top 3 winners from our area for the Human Rights Day Writing Contest!

It's a busy week at Patrick Henry filled with basketball, wrestling, orchestra, musical auditions, MAP testing and a fundraiser!
Our "Patrick Henry Cares" fundraiser is dedicated to supporting students in need during the festive season. Each year we assemble raffle baskets with a variety of gift cards and experiences. These baskets are raffled off to teachers to help raise funds that go to items our PHMS students may need. This year we are opening up two raffle baskets for parents/guardians to participate in the fundraising event. Winners will be contacted on Wednesday, December 18th.
