Good evening Wildcat Families-
We have a good start on our May 21st Cultural Day for the Rosa Parks students. However, we need several more adults to help out. We are looking for parents/grandparents/community members to volunteer two or four hours on May 21st. During the two hour sessions, you will share your passion with a small group of students. The day will look like this...
8:30-10:30 Session 1
10:45-11:45 LUNCH
12:00-2:00 Session 2
We can have more than one person sharing the same topic because no one does it the same way! Some ideas of what others have signed up for are yoga, hot yoga, learning about pipe organs, house planting, cake pops and donuts, puzzles, friendship bracelet making, basketball at the YMCA, canvas painting, 3D printing, camping, hiking at Good Earth State Park, Cricuting for t-shirts, Comfort bags and soccer fun! Other ideas could be papusa making, gaming, drumming, cookie decorating, chess, games, disk golf, tennis, sewing, science experiments, wood working, touring interesting businesses, are just a few things that come to mind! I know we have some very talented parents and grandparents out there, now is your opportunity to share with a group of students!
Thank you for considering to help out! The link is at the top and the bottom of this email!

402 worked hard to earn their reward!
Great job showing Kindness!!

All fourth graders have been working hard on fractions. Here they are putting their fraction cards in order on a number line.

Tomorrow is school-wide Pajama Day! Dress in your cozy PJ's.
(Remember appropriate shoes for recess and gym.)

Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. O'Brien, and Mrs. Erickson all received grants today at the staff mtg. They are excited to add dice for math games, magnetic boards, letters and tactile things to help students with their reading and writing! A huge thank you to Mr. Peterson from First National Bank for presenting the teachers with the GREAT news and sponsoring their grant ideas! We are so excited!
