Today is a beautiful December day, but we know it can't last forever in South Dakota! Make sure you and your student(s) know how to access Canvas for remote learning when weather that keeps kids home can be predicted in advance.

12/12 - Merry & Bright. Wear lights, tinsel, garland, or anything else that sparkles and shines.

Candy Cane Day - wear red and white tomorrow.

Best time of Friday! Monice was the STAR reader from first grade and shared her book with me! She did AMAZING!

Friday is National Brownie Day! Dress in brown or like a reindeer.

Fun socks and fun "tree toppers"

Thursday - Dreaming of a White Holiday. Wear your pajamas today. (Remember that we will still have recess, so make sure you plan for that.).

Wednesday is Sweet Warming Hands Day - donate mittens or Hershey bars and the students will make cute snowmen.
Wear your comfy clothes!

Tuesday is Tree Topper Day - wear those reindeer antlers, Santa hats, etc

We did it! Thank you!
We’d like to give a big shout out and thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser.
We raised $2,211!
The top grade level was first grade by selling 106 kits with kindergarten super close with 104!
The top sellers were:
Finley (1st) selling 18 kits
Steven (K) selling 16 kits
Zoey (5th) selling 16 kits
Landon G (K) selling 15 kits
Zane C (K) selling 15 kits
Zekorah (2) selling 14 kits!
We very much appreciate everyone's help with this fundraiser! We will be able to fully stock the ROAR store for the students at Rosa Parks!

Twinning with our students is so much fun, especially when it isn't planned.

This Really Can’t Be Any Easier!
Time is running out to buy Pizza Kits and In-Store Meal Deals to support our fundraiser!
Every week, we are getting closer to our goal but we really need everyone to work together and participate. Make sure you’ve sent your unique link to anyone who will support you and our fundraiser. Think of anyone you know who likes pizza…HINT HINT, that’s everyone!
Zoey in 5th grade is currently our leading sellers with 16 pizza kits sold.
ZeKorah in 2nd grade is in second place with 14 pizza kits sold.
Riley in kindergarten is in third place with 12 pizza kits sold!
Grade level totals are:
Kindergarten 65 pizza kits sold
First 84 pizza kits sold
Second 29 pizza kits sold
Third 23 pizza kits sold
Fourth 11 pizza kits sold
Fifth 33 pizza kits sold
First grade has taken over the lead! That probably means Mrs. Machacek is being taped to the wall!
Over the Thanksgiving break would be a great time to nudge those relatives into buying some pizza kits!
Thank you for the support!
